Can you drive your RV or large truck, tractor trailer, etc over the Kancamagus Highway? We get asked this question quite a bit!
The short answer is yes, you can drive your RV, tractor trailer or large vehicle across the Kancamagus Highway. Do keep in mind that you will be driving up and down some steep and long inclines and declines during your trip across the Kancamagus. You will want to be sure you’re brakes are in good working order before header out.
Another thing to keep in mind when driving your RV or tractor trailer across the Kancamagus is that there is a fairly significant hairpin turn that you will need to decrease your speed for in order to make the turn safely. This hairpin turn is on the Lincoln side of the Kancamagus Scenic Byway. Be sure to pay close attention to posted speed limit signs.
