Pine Bend Brook Trail is a 4 mile trail that heads South from the Kancamagus Highway parking area and connects to Scaur Ridge Trail, Mt. Tripyramid Trail and the Sabbaday Brook Trail.
Pine Bend Brook Trail is relatively flat for 2 miles but has several stream crossings. The first two miles are rates as easy, from that point Pine Bend Brook Trail and connecting trails are much more difficult and much steeper. You can also access two of New Hampshire’s 4,000 footers hiking this area. You will find the decent back down to be even more difficult so be sure you are up for the challenge! Rocks can be very slippery and lots of scrambles as you gain elevation.
There aren’t too many mountain views along this trail, but it does offer the deep forest experience, bring bug spray!
The parking area is located about a mile West of the Sabbaday Falls parking area.
