There are some rules to keep in mind during your visit to the Kancamagus Highway in New Hampshire. Following the rules stated at the parking areas will help protect you, your family, the forest and the wildlife.

Are Dogs Allowed on the Kancamagus Highway?

Dogs are allowed on the Kancamagus Highway but they must be leashed at all times.

Alcohol

Alcohol is not allowed on the Kancamagus Highway or in any of the parks. Alcohol is allowed in the camping areas.

Campfires

Other Rules...

Each scenic area, trailhead, campground or park will have its own set of rules posted. The rules above are general rules. Please follow the rules at each location you visit.
